1. First of all connect to your vps (you can use putty or the terminal that have linux and mac os).

2. If you wanna use CSF you need a perl module so copy and paste this:

Quote:yum install -y perl-libwww-perl

3. Now, we can download and isntal CSF:
– At this point I recomend to use the following directory/folder.

Quote:cd /usr/local/src
wget http://www.configserver.com/free/csf.tgz
tar -zxvf csf.tgz
cd csf

– Simple again you have to copy and paste.

4. As a recoemndation make a backup of the original configuration of CSF with:

Quote:cp /etc/csf/csf.conf /etc/csf/csf.conf.bak

5. Now config somethings with:

Quote:nano -w /etc/csf/csf.conf

At this part look for:

Quote:TESTING = “1”
– Change the 1 for 0

TCP_IN = “20,21,22,25,53,80,110,143,443,465,587,993,995,25565”
– Add the port 10000 (this is to use webmin)

TCP_OUT = “20,21,22,25,53,80,110,113,443,25565”
– the same look this and add the port 10000.
